Analgesia per primary team, recommend Tylenol/Motrin for mild/moderate pain, Percocet or Tylenol #3 for breakthrough pain
Soft/puree diet, chew away from extraction sites if possible
Apply gauze pressure directly over extraction socket and keep in place with firm biting pressure, changing gauze every 20 min for 30-40min or until hemostasis has been achieved.
No Spitting, drinking with a straw, or smoking for 1 week
Maintain good oral hygiene, brush teeth BID, gently rinse with warm salt water after meals until gingiva has healed
Follow-up with General Dentistry as outpatient for regular dental care
OMFS to post-op check

Use OTC Afrin BID 2 sprays/nostril 3 days maximum as needed, OTC decongestant (e.g. Sudafed) or Antihistamine (e.g. Claritin-D) as needed, and saline nasal spray as needed.
